Privacy

What we keep when you sign up for the weekly email, and how to leave.

What we keep

Your email address, the dates you signed up, confirmed and last got a mail from us, and where on the site you signed up (for example "home"). Nothing else: no name, no IP address.

What we use it for

Only to send the Brian & Ruth weekly mail, from [email protected]. Nothing is sent until you click the confirm link in the first mail. We never sell or share your address.

Signup protection

To stop automated signups, the server counts signups per connection for one hour, in memory only. That count is never written to disk and is gone within the hour.

Leaving

Every mail has an unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe we keep your address marked as unsubscribed, so we never mail it again unless you sign up again. To have it deleted completely, write to [email protected].

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics only after you accept the cookie banner. Decline and no analytics cookie is set.

Who we are
